I usually work in the afternoons. We use the mornings to homeschool and then have lunch. My writing usually occurs anytime between noon and 4pm, then we break for dinner. I go back to my desk about 6pm and work for another few hours. Weekends I spend doing billing and filing, Sundays I schedule tasks for the upcoming week.

My work schedule varies each week as my hubby's schedule is never the same. But I do work hard at checking emails early morning before everyone gets up. Then schedule offline clients M, W, Fr and online clients will depend on which days hubby works. I schedule that work for days he's at work.

I know when the kids were small it was the opposite. I scheduled everything for when hubby was home so I didn't have to pay a sitter when I went to do parties.

I generally work when my kids are sleeping. Each week I make a list of everything I want to get done that week and I work on the list when my kids are sleeping--nap time, after bedtime. Any other work that has to be done outside my home office is definitely scheduled!
