Poor eating habits results in unwanted weight gain or unwanted weight loss.
Walking from your home office to the kitchen is not very far and it’s easy to make wrong choices if you have the wrong foods in your pantry or refrigerator.
Here are some ways you can zap your poor eating habits.
First of all out of sight, out of mind. If you don’t have it, you’re not going to eat it. Don’t buy it, don’t eat it. It’s very simple. Your pantry should not be filled with cookies, chips, candy or store bought baked goods.
Your fridge should be stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, unsweetened fruit juice, water, milk, low-fat or non-fat yogurt etc. Be careful of blended juices as they contain more calories. Don’t be mislead by 0 calories soft drinks. Diet or 0 calories soft drinks contain artificial sweetners that aren’t good for us and in the long run cause more damage to our bodies.
Have regular meals including snacks. Snacks are important to have because they will curb binges, keep your blood sugar levels in a normal range and it gives you energized throughout the day.
